In 1850, Abasalom Blanchard, aged 79, b. S.C lived the next household to the Lenoirs. Lenoir was his son-in-law. The next household was that of William A. Lenoir, aged 38, b. S.C. These men were all planters in the prairies in the west part on Monroe County.
Ransom Gwynn Blanchard, aged 50, b. S.C. and his family lived in the town of Aberdeen. With him lived his son-in-law, William L. Marsh.
By 1860, there was William A. still living in the prairies. Ransom Gwynn and his family were still living in Aberdeen.
I will get back to you for the 1870 census.
