Cindy,
pg 28 Mother Monroe book
"Among those who have supplied regional information were....For Cotton Gin ...Mrs Jordan..."
that is all it has on Mrs Jordan, this book was written in the 1930's by W. A. Evans

pg 81 "June 11, 1886 the Aberdeen Guards were entered in the Greenville drill. On July 4,1885, this Company won second prize. W. A. Evans Jr. won prize as best drilled soldier. The Drill team was ... W. H. Jordan..."

I know the dates are misleading but that is how it is written. This is all that is in the book. Sorry.

Sue B
