Johnnie Hartley, 93, died June 27, 2009, at her daughter’s home in Aberdeen. She was born March 25, 1916, to John Cleveland Coleman and Rama Britt Coleman in Lamar County, Ala. She was a lifelong resident of Aberdeen. She was a retired employee of Burris Chair Factory and a member of Sulphur Springs Primitive Baptist Church.
Services were at the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with burial in Bogan Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Jimmy A. Carter; her second husband, Holly Moy; her third husband, Jim Hartley; and a number of brothers and sisters.
