Margaret Ellender D’Haillecourt, 87, died June 30, 2009, at her home. She was born Dec. 1, 1921, in Sesser, Ill., to Bryan and Mattie McBride Eubanks. She married the Rev. Arthur D’Haillecourt in 1941. She lived in Memphis and in the Amory area for the past 20 years. She was a homemaker and a devoted pastor’s wife. She was a member of the Cason Baptist Church and an active member of the Cason Baptist Golden Believers.
Services were at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with burial in the Haughton Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Leslie, Cecil and Howard Eubanks; five grandchildren, Sabrina Brown, Anthony Hood, Lisa D’Haillecourt, Cary D’Haillecourt and Denissa Hester; and one great-grandchild, Brandon Sprouse.
