Hello, Joy, My great grandmother knew some Flowers in Kilmichael. She had lived with them for some time before she married in 1890. Her name was Nettie Duke back then, and she married James "Allen" Keith. I have a letter to Nettie from an Eliza Flowers written about 1909, if I remember correctly. In it, Eliza mentions her deceased husband, her 'big boys' and "little daughter". The letter has names like DR REICE FLOWERS, what looks like Jamie Flowers and lots more. I have transcribed the letter and if you would like a copy I will be happy to send it to you. It was of particular interest to me since my grandfather was named Lemuel "Reice" Keith after Reice Flowers. I have also done some digging and found that Joseph Flowers b.11-25-1819 d. 5-15-1906 married Elizabeth Jane Diggs. There was a John Erasmus Flowers, Jr b. 10-15-1831 d. 3-17-1859 married Eliza Ingram. Just let me know if you want a copy of the letter, which I have called for my reference "Letters to Nettie". The letter I transcribed is actually more than one letter, and a couple of pages are missing, but it's full of who married whom, who died and all the scrapes people got into back then. I have sent this letter to the Montgomery County co-ordinator in the past...with her permission, and she never replied and it was never posted. I thought it might be of help to others looking for relatives. I was in hopes I could learn something about Nettie's mother....I have nothing on her except her first name.

Sincerely,
Suzanne
