Hi,

I just happened to run across your posting today. Earlier this week I sent an email to the MSGenWeb coordinator to see if I can adopt Montgomery County, Mississippi for many of the same points you brought out in your post. I have been a resident of Montgomery County for over 20 years and have been researching my family tree for almost 30 years (www.sandyfamilytree.com). With a web design backbground (www.scswebdesign.com) I hope they will allow me to adopt the county so that the site can be revamped and updated. I also live within 10 miles of the courthouse and can do lookups and such.

Keep your fingers crossed! Sandy Ward
