Maybe you can do some newspaper and statistics lookups for me: I need documentation for my grandmother's birth. She was Etta Coleman, b. Apr. 22, 1874, in Kilmichael, Montgomery Co.(yes, it was a county then), Mississippi. I have no middle name for her. Her parents were Harrison Horton Coleman (m. 1872 in Winona) and Charlotte Rebecca Flowers (daughter of John E. Flowers, 1813-1869). By 1880 the family was in Memphis, TN. My cousin and I think the family left MS because H.H. Coleman was a Union soldier. And what happened to Charlotte's mother, Ann Eliza Ingram Flowers? You may write to me directly at joychi@quixnet.net. Thank you.
