According to the WWI draft registration, Colie Franklin Oglesby was born 13 Dec 1891 in Caseratta (Cadaretta), MS. The LDS has information showing that Colie (or Coleman Franklin Oglesby, Jr.) was the son of Coleman Franklin Oglesby b. abt 1854, MS and Sara E. Young b. abt 1852, MS. Sara was Coleman Sr.'s second wife. His first wife was Henrietta C. Young b. 12 Oct 1848, MS; died 15 Sep 1885, Slate Springs, Webster Co., MS; buried Bethany Cemetery, Webster Co., MS.; and sister to Sara E. Young. These women were daughters of Albert Gallatin Young b. 1826, SC. and Clementina Brown Golding, b. 8 May 1830, SC; died 4 or 24 Apr 1862, Webster Co., MS. Coleman Franklin Oglesby and Henrietta C. Young had the following children: Clementine B., b. 1878, MS Carrie L., b. 1879, MS Albert Young, b. 17 Jan 1879 (according to WWI draft reg.) Joe C., b. Sep 1881, MS Etta Sue, b. Sep 1885, MS It appears that Albert Young Oglesby may have married Jennie Mae Carson's sister Ella M. Carson b. 1878. However, I have not confirmed this information. In the 1880 Sumner Co., MS census, C. F. Oglesby (Oglsbly) and wife Henretten C. are listed living next door to this family: W. D. Evans, 30, MS, farmer, father and mother b. TN Mollie, 22, MS, father b. TN, Mother b. MS - wife C. A. Oglsbly, mother in law, 45, MS, father & mother b. SC widowed Manda Oglsbly, dau, 20, MS, father b. TN; mother b. MS Sallie B. Oglsbly, dau, 18, MS, father b. TN; mother b. MS John R. Oglsbly, 10, MS, father b. TN; mother b. MS It appears that Mollie, Manda, Sallie B., and John R. Oglsbly are children of C. A. Oglsbly, and therefore would be siblings to Coleman Franklin Oglesby. I hope this will give you a good starting place. If you would like more information on the Carson family, I will be glad to help.
