Hi Martha and Theresa,
I'm a Casiday. A lot of my family was from Montgomery County. I have some info on the Partridges (that's how I thought it was always spelled, but it's good to see that maybe I can correct that assumption, and census record.
I have some info on Martha Weldon, born abt. 1853 in Alabama. Is this your Martha? I also have her married to William Osborne Casaday (you know.........the various census spellings). Perhaps Martha married someone after William Osborne Casaday. They were married in 1870, and have one daughter listed as born in Alabama in 1871, named Lizzie. But, he died in 1912, so unless there was a divorce, or she died much later and "adopted" the new husband's children....??
Also have a Missouri Weldon who probably was a sister to Martha. She married Jordan John Casiday as his 2nd wife. The first was Mary Partridge or Patridge.
