To Janet Deans:
Hi,
I am wondering if you might help me to locate a cemetery in Neshoba County, MS.

A relative of mine was working on the Yates' of Neshoba CO., MS. He is deceased now and he left me his notes.
He noted That Darling Barber Yates.Born 1815 in GA. Died:June of 1861 and is buried on the Outz place,North of Yates Crossing on the Pearl River,Philadelphia,Ms.(Grave unmarked.) Do you know if the Outz place is a Cemetery.
I cant find any thing on the internet about the Yates crossing are the outz place, Maybe its a home place, Iam not familiar with MS.

He also names the wife of Darling Barber Yate, Mary Emily Oliver,Yates.Born>17 Feb 1820 in South Carolina, Died> 16 Jul 1900>Buried> Old Cemetery,Phila.,MS
Grave covered per her request that no rain fall on it.
He doesn't say if they are buried in the same Cemetery are not. I would think they probably are.
Do you have any idea what cemetery he was refering to?

I would be grateful for any infomation you might have.

Thanks, Martha Yates Vandver

Liberty County,Texas
