I've hit a brick wall with my research on the Price family lineage. They did live in Leake County, MS. for a long while according to census rec's. The family tells me that their ancestors came from North Carolina. A census lists Wiley's father as born in Georgia. I would appreciate any info at all on this family line. This is the family I'm researching:
Wiley P. Price, b. abt. 1871, MS.
married Martha A. Davidson, b. abt. 1877, MS.
Children: John Richard Price, b. 1897 married Katie Sephton, Carrie Price b. 1894 married Guy Kelly, Delia Price married ? Foster, Archie T. Price b. 1909 never married, Jessie Price, Katie Price, James Olan Price b. 1902 married Myrtle Mae Sistrunk, Emmitt Price died at 4 years old, M.V. Price (baby girl) died as infant.
Some of this Price family are buried in High Hill Methodist Church Cemetery in Neshoba County, MS. and some are buried in Zion and Mt. Zion cemeteries in Neshoba County.
