Joseph Moore Plantation in Newton County

I'm looking for information on the Joseph Moore Plantation in Newton County. I believe my early ancestors were slaves on this plantation and stayed around after the Civil War to continue working on the plantation. The relatives were Benjamin Moore and Morton Moore (I think they were brothers). I have traced them back to the 1870s and see that they were working on the plantation, which was then owned by Joseph's sons, Joseph F and Edward.

I would appreciate any information anyone might have on the slaves on the plantation that can be tied to Ben and Morton.

Thanks
Charlie
