West D. married Malinda Callaway in 1835 and in 1854 they moved to the Sulphur Springs area of TX. West (aka Wesley) was a minister of the gospel/circuit rider. Later he was ordained in the Methodist Episcopal Church
They had four children:
Larkin who died on his way to the Civil War
Martha Jane (called Jenny) married a Barefield
Sarah married E. M.KING and then James Finley
Rhoda married Thomas C. Burns from Co Wicklow>NY>TX
Mary Frances married Jack BYRD > OK
