We are seeking descendants of James W. Sparks, born in Laurens County, SC, on May 14, 1849, and died in Sardis, MS, on June 18, 1920. James W. Sparks lived in Noxubee County, MS, after being mustered out of the Confederate Army at the war's end. He farmed there for some years. We have the wedding picture from about 1898 of his daughter, Effie Sparks, and Charles Howe, a picture we will be glad to share. James W. Sparks' son or grandson, Jim O. Sparks, lived in Sardis, MS, in 1920. Any and all help keenly appreciated.
