Am reposting request for information on gggrandfather, John Wesley Evans, who was born 5 Feb 1812 in NC. In the 1860 Census he and his family appear in Noxubee County. Information that I have received suggests that he was both a minister and an overseer. He and wife, Cordelia Bell, were parents of 9 children, 5 of whom also could have been born in this county. Would like any information on his ancestry, parents, etc.
