Seeking the children of Ivy Pony & Sarah "Robinson" Betts, who lived near Double Springs, in Oktibbeha Co., Miss.,Beat 3. Anyone working on the Betts family in this area, please contant me. Ivy Pony was the son Elijah Jefferson "Pony" & Marinda "Azwell" Betts. Elijah was the son of Benjamin P. & Martha Adeline "Hornsby" Betts. Benjamin came to Oktibbeha Co., Miss. from Coosa Co., Alabama about 1850/1860. He lived in Oktibbeha and Choctaw Co., Miss.! Benjamin & Martha were buried at Double Springs Methodist Church Cem., in Oktibbeha Co., Miss., along with several of his children, and grandchildren! Some of his children also lived in Lafayette Co., Miss. near Abbeville.
