SARDIS - Isiah House, 69, died April 22, 2008, at his residence. Services were Saturday at Mt. Zion M.B. Church. Rev. Cedric Jackson officiated. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Henderson Funeral Home had charge.
House, born Dec. 14, 1938, to the late Ike House and the late Elna Kearney, was a city worker and a member of Mt. Zion M.B. Church.
Survivors included his wife, Linda R. House of Sardis; six daughters, Yvonne Jones and Beatrice House, both of Batesville, Feliaa House of Memphis, Dianna House of Como, Vickie House and Martina House, both of Sardis; two sons, Darryl Issac House III and Eric House, both of Sardis; two brothers, John Arthur House of Holly Springs and Robert House of Sardis; two sisters, Lois Fambra and Doris Webb, both of Chicago and 11 grandchildren.
