SARDIS - Edward “T.Roy” Lloyd, 74, died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi.
Services were at Olive Ray M.B. Church. Burial was in Olive Ray Cemetery. Cooley’s Mortuary had charge.
Lloyd, born March 12, 1934, in Pope, to the late Ed Lloyd and the late Cora McGhee, was a retired state department worker and a member of Olive Ray M.B. Church.
Survivors included his wife, Lena Lloyd of Sardis; six sons, Jerry Stinson of Batesville, James Whitten of Mesa, Ariz., John Lloyd and Jimmy Lloyd, both of Milwaukee, Wis., Edward Lloyd Jr. of Duluth, Mich. and Hozie Clasberry of Kankakee, Ill.; four daughters, Brenda Lloyd of Kankakee, Ill., Kathy Lloyd and Jacquelyne Lloyd, both of Milwaukee, Wis. and Carolyn Lloyd Verser of Covington, Ga.; three sisters, Ruth Williams and Clara Shaw, both of Pope and Annie Lee Smalley of Enid; one brother, Eddie Lloyd of Pope; 23 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
