SARDIS - Carrie Bell Brunt, 81, died Friday, May 9, 2008, at her residence.
Services were at Mt. Zion M.B. Church in Sardis. Burial was in Mt. Zion M.B. Church Cemetery. Felix Cauthen Funeral Home has charge.
Brunt was a member of Mt. Zion M.B. Church where she was on the Mother Board. She was in the choir for 36 years, a director, usher and former Sunday school superintindent. She was also a licensed hair stylist for 58 years.
Survivors included her husband, Clyde Brunt; one daughter, Betty Salter of Sardis; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
