POPE - Nina Catherine “Teny” Burns Hyland, 82, died Thursday, May 15, 2008, at her residence.
Services were at Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Burial was in Liberty Hill Cemetery.
Hyland, born Dec. 11, 1925, in Texas, to the late Arthur Clarence and Lona D. Davis Burns, was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Lee Hyland; two sisters, Uvie Ensor and Nannie Snider; five brothers, Willie Burns, Fred Burns, Dale Burns, Windell Burns and Hayward Burns and two grandchildren, Rebecca Copeland Watts and Timothy Copeland.
Survivors included one daughter, Sandra Hyland Copeland and husband, Charles Copeland of Pope; two grandchildren, Tommy Copeland of Hernando and Michelle Copeland Capwell of Pope; five great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
