William "Son" Hill, 88, died June 22, 2008, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora. He was born Aug. 24, 1919, at Tillatoba. He was a retired watchman, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of Indianola Baptist Church.
Services were at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.
Survivors included three sisters, Agnes Kerr Sullivan of Batesville, Mary Catherine Hill of Mathiston and Katie Lois Coleman of Indianola; two brothers, J. Wayne Hill of Hardy, Ark., and Bro. Eldred Hill of Fort Worth, Texas.
