COURTLAND-- Linder “Pop” VanBuren McCullar, 80, died Monday, June 23, 2008, at his residence in Courtland.
Services were Wednesday at Dickins Funeral Home. Burial was in Forrest Memorial Cemetery. Dickins Funeral Home had charge.
McCullar, born April 22, 1928, to the late Voloney Linder McCullar and the late Velma Lottie Doty, was a truck driver and a retired U.S. Navy and Army veteran.
Survivors included two daughters, Linda Ann Burchfield of Batesville and Rebecca Jean Hurt of Coldwater; one sister, Maxine Meredith of Hernando; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
