I saw your post and wanted to try and help. Off the top of my head I can't remember exactly when Hancock county split and formed part of Pearl River county, however, if you are looking for very early records they are maintained at the Hancock County Court House in Bay St. Louis, MS. I was fortunate to find early marriage records there. Good luck in your hunting! Hope this may have helped!
