Can anyone help me identify the parents of Arminta A. IKERD, born 12 Oct 1879, died 24 Feb 1899, buried in the Jake Alone cemetery, Dixie community, Forrest County, MS? She married Andrew Jackson "Andy" Ikerd, who most likely was from Jackson Co., MS, near Ocean Springs, and apparently died following childbirth. The infant was born and died 17 Jan 1899 and is buried adjacent to Arminta. One souce has passed along information given to him years ago that gives Arminta's maiden name as Aramenta Haynes. Andrew J. Ikerd married 2nd Cynthia Enola McInnis; they and their children are enumerated in the Perry Co., MS censuses for 1910, 1920, and 1930. Andrew died in 1933 (is he buried in Perry Co.?). The information is needed to complete a history of the Dixie community and all clues will be appreciated.
