Brenda: Thanks, but the person you refer to was probably S.T. Garraway, Jr. His father, S.T. Garraway, Sr. died in 1891 and his will is in Perry Co.
Llewellyn Maddocks was born in Maine of a family that settled there in the early 1700's. He fought for the Union in the Civil War, was wounded, and somehow ended up in Perry Co, MS around 1870 where he married Clarissa Garraway.
The S.T. Garraway, Jr. you referred to signed some affivadits for his sister when she was trying to receive a widow's pension.
