Asa CHADICK was a pioneer Baptist circuit preacher in southern Mississippi and Alabama in the early 1800s. He traveled from Pearl River to Mobile Bay. He moved from Perry Co to Buchatunna MS and was a member of Salem Church by letter. I am trying to identify the churches he established in MS and locate any old church records, minutes, etc. He may have married my 3g-grandparents about 1820 in Jackson Co MS. As the Jackson Co courthouse burned, the only record of marriages might be in these old church records. Any help will be appreciated.
