MITCHELL's in Pike County

Looking for any reference to any MITCHELL in Pike County from 1850 - 1900.
My Algernon Sidney Mitchell, Sr and family removed to Pike Co. from Madison Co. c1855-1860. He was married to Lucy Rachel Martin Tillman of Bedford Co., TN. Algernon Sr's son, Algernon Jr. by his first wife, Martha E. Tillman [Lucy's sister] was killed in the Civil War up in Virginia 3 days after Lee's surrender. We don't know where he's buried.
Algernon Sr. died sometime before the 1880 census around McComb. Some of the family are supposedly buried in McComb's Hollywood Cemetery, but we've been unable to confirm.
Algernon Sr's parents, Marmaduke and Mary Bradley Tupple Mitchell supposedly removed to Pike Co. with Algernon c1855-1860.
According to a brief story in the 'History of Pike County', page 131, Algernon Sr. built a steam sawmill one mile west of Summit and eventually took J.J. White as a partner.

Any information would be most appreciated.
Thank you.
R/Steven
