On 12 Dec 1827 Benjamin Brock sold 400 acres of land to James Brock in Anson County, NC. Benjamin had purchased the land from Jane McIntire, Ann McIntyre, Duncan Nicholson and James Nicholson. Witnesses to this land deed were Eli P. Brock, Squire Brock and Dun [Duncan] Nicholson.
Eli P. BROCK was issued LAND CERTIFICATE #11,989 in Pike County, Mississippi, on 1 February 1859 for Two hundred and forty (240) acres of land in Township 1 of Range 10 East.
I’m trying to determine if these two ELI P. BROCK are the same. Could someone with access to Mississippi records especially the 1850/1860 Census help me with this individual.
I would also like to know if there is any other relationships between the individuals named.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
