John Oliver Haley was son of John Jesse Haley and Eliza Ellis Haley. John Oliver Haley and Catherine Young Haley has two young sons buried at Old Gersham Cemetery called Williams Cemetery now, their names was Tom May Haley, and William Walker Haley. John Oliver Haley was buried at Calhoun City Cemetery, Catherine Young Haley was buried in the town cemetery at Pittsboro, Ms., and their g-g-grandaughter; Ruth Haley Brown of Baton Rouge, La. died in 2007. I found out the sad message from Louise Harman of Wisconsin a week ago. Ruth was a wonderful distant cousin that I have contact for 30 years; and visited her and her husband Gilbert Brown many times at their home. Gerald Barnell Fowler
