Troy A. "Hook" Davis, 83, died April 28, 2008, at the Baptist Hospital in Booneville. He was a retired dairy farmer and a member of Jericho Baptist Church.
Services were at Waters Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bethany Cemetery.
Survivors included his wife, Vera Maxine Davis of Jumpertown; one son, Roger Dale Davis of Dry Creek; three sisters, Lavern Henley and Grace Sparks, both of Belmont, and Hattie Lee Hall of Halltown; two brothers, John "Johnny" Earl Davis of Belmont and Douglas R. Davis Sr. of Guntown; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Gracie Green Davis; one sister, Opel Hammett; four brothers, W.D. Davis, Arthur "Tater" Davis, R.C. "Cotton" Davis and Virgil "Tip" Davis.
