Mildred Ellen Johnson Landers, 94, died May 7,2008, at her residence. She was born Sept. 28, 1913, in Prentiss County to Samuel Jeptha and Amanda Blizzard Johnson. While making her home in Memphis most of her life, she had also lived in Tupelo for over 20 years. She was a longtime member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed her life as a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ until her health failed . She had attended Skyline Church of Chirst.
Graveside services were Saturday at Spring Hill Cemetery with W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Survivors included two sons, Leonard Edwin (Peggy) Landers and Billy Wayne (Robert) Landers all of Memphis; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard H. Landers and one grandson.
