Josie Duggar Hicks, 84, died Sunday, June 1, 2008, at the Landmark Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church and a retired employee of Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville.
Services were at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Cain’s Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors included one daughter, Jane Jones of Booneville; one son, Jimmy C. Hicks of Booneville; one sister, Irene Hill of New Albany; three grandchildren, Becky Jones of Lexington, Ala., J. Hicks of Booneville and Bonna Hardy (Issac) of Okinawa, Japan; one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde W. Hicks, and her parents, Claude and Willie Duggar.
