David Earl McCoy, 58, died June 9, 2008, at his home. He was born June 10, 1949, in Baldwyn to Earnest Edward McCoy and Rosie Lee Barrett McCoy. He was a press break operator for FMC for 22 years. He was a member of People’s Baptist Church in Justice, Ill. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, yard sales and spending time with his family.
Services were at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Survivors included one son, David Edward McCoy (Susan) of Booneville; two daughters, Debbie Harrison (Troy) of Corinth and Linda Mardis of Booneville; one brother, Pete McCoy (Shirley) of Booneville; two sisters, Ann Trout (Richard) and Ruby McCoy, both of Booneville; six grandchildren; the mother of his children, Vickie Bray of Glen.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two nieces, Linda Jo Trout and Joanne Marie Trout.
