Mary Fay Lauderdale Spencer, 69, died July 2, 2008, at her home. She was a native of Booneville. She was a member of Hendrix Road Baptist Church and a retired cashier for Mutual Savings. She was a loving housewife and mother.
Services were at Greenview Memorial Chapel. Burial was in Greenview Memorial Park.
Survivors included her husband of 51 years, W.D. Spencer; her mother-in-law, Mrs. R.C. Spencer of Booneville; three daughters, Deborah S. Haynes and Melba S. Crabb, both of Booneville, and Rebecca S. Pickle (Bruce) of Florence, Ala.; one brother, Larry Lauderdale of Booneville; four sisters, Eugenia Messick (George) of Memphis, Dell Thomason (John) of New Albany, Martha Huntley of Greenville and Esther Lauderdale of Tuscumbia, Ala.; grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Price and Martha Jewel Sparks Lauderdale; two brothers, a twin brother, Bobby Ray, who died in infancy, and William Leon; her father-in-law, R.C. Spencer; and a son-in-law, Jeff Crabb.
