Honora Anne Lacy, 81, formerly of Booneville, died July 19, 2008, at University Nursing Facility in Athens, Ga. She was a retired real estate broker and a member of the Realtor’s Association in Arkansas and Mississippi. She was a tennis pro in Florida for several years. She loved to garden, read and play tennis.
Graveside services were at the Booneville City Cemetery with members of her family officiating. McMillan Funeral Home of Booneville was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included two daughters, Dr. Dorcas Franklin (Dr. Miguel Cabrera) of Athens, Ga., and Lacy Honora McCracken-Prewitt (Richard L. Prewitt) of Long Beach; two sons, Hamilton Lacy Meadows of New York City and Thomas Weems Franklin (Denise) of Junction City, Ga.; one sister, Elizabeth Lacy Keane of Maryland; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore McCracken; her parents, Eugene Petty and Marguerite Hamilton Lacy; a son, David Eugene Franklin aka Theodore McCracken II; and two sisters, Martha Hanley and Katie Lou Lacy.
