I am looking for the family (parents, siblings) of Silas William Moore born March 1867 in Mississippi.
He married Carrie Elizabeth Harrison Oct. 1890 in Scott Co. Mississippi. They moved to Arkansas, and eventually lived in Broken Bow, OK. Silas’ father was known as “Pinkman” Moore, and his mother’s maiden name was Warren ( I don’t know what her first name was). According to census records Silas’ mother was born in Alabama, he did not list where his father was born. Silas’ parents might have been Native American, as I have record of Silas applying for the Choctaw roles & being denied. Please email me if you have any information about these folks.
