I am looking for information on the wife of Hugh Andrew Kelso, who was Luvenia L. Taylor (AKA Lavenia, Lue, Lou).
b. Aug 1864 in Mississippi
d. Jan 1939 and buried in Mathews, New Madrid County, Missouri.
m. 22 Oct 1887, Monroe County, Mississippi
The couple, or at least some of their children/family, also lived in Scott County.
Based upon very skecthy evidence, she may have been something other than fully white - mulatto or partially indian, perhaps.
