I'm researching the Roberts/Chitty line. I'm wondering if the about the information below.

In the 1870 Scott County census there is seven year old Turner (or Truman) - can't tell in a Roberts famlly. Forgot his name but I believe he and his wife (Branch family) were married in Sumpter County Alabama.

In the Charles Chitty of the 1880 Lauderdale MS census his wife is lister as Mary J.E. Roberts and Turner (or Truman) is age 17 and listed as nephew.

Now, in the 1890? census of the Chittys, Thomas Dixon is living there and he is listed as a nephew. Couldn't help but notice the Roberts/Dixon connection in your querey and am hoping there is a connection.
