Looking for more information about James C. Jones, born about 1884 in MS. He and his wife and children are enumerated in the 1920 census for Simpson Co., MS, where his occupation is listed as high school teacher. His wife and children are listed as: Dellie I. 33 LA; James C., Jr., 8 MS; Virginia 5 MS; and Lucy 3 MS. The family lived in rental housing on Dallas Street, according to the census. J. C. Jones was the first principal at the newly consolidated Dixie School in Forrest Co., MS in the 1922 session and he and his wife were both charter members of the newly-organized Dixie Baptist Church. I would be grateful for any information about J. C. Jones and family both before and after 1920.
