Ruleville - BEATRICE MALONE BUTTS, 101, services were June 12 at Ruleville Baptist Church, Ruleville, MS. She died Sunday, June 10 at Walter Crook Nursing Home in Ruleville. Burial was in Lehrton Cemetery, Ruleville under the direction of Boone-Card Funeral Home, Indianola.
She was born in Calhoun City, MS moving to Sunflower County at an early age with her family. She received her education in Sunflower County. She married Fred Butts and they made their home in Blaine. He preceded her in death in 1975. She had been a resident of Ruleville since 1977. She was also preceded in death by a son, Frank Butts. She was a member of Ruleville Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Nita Scipper of Ruleville and Joyce Stallings of Marks; a son, Dr. Jack Butts of Batesville; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.
