I am looking for any information on the family of THOMAS H. and SARAH STEGALL GRIFFIN found on 1880 Sunflower Co., Ms. census.
Thomas H. Griffin was b. abt 1822 in N.C. He m. Sarah Stegall b. Feb. 1819 in N.C. The couple had nine children named ELIZA ADLINE, PENELOPE JANE, BENJAMIN FRANKLIN, ALBERT W., JAMES THOMAS, MARY ELIZABETH, SARAH A., WILLIAM MARION,and JOHN W. GRIFFIN.
I found a T.H. Griffin in the Death Records of Ms. Masons as 1888. Did he die in Sunflower Co.? Where was he buried? Did Sarah Stegall Griffin also die there?
What became of the two children still living with them in 1880? Did Sarah A. Griffin marry? What happened to son, John W. Griffin?
Any information would be appreciated.
