CLARKSDALE - Mary Louise Lokey King, 78, died July 20, 2006, at the Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. She was born July 13, 1928, in Memphis to William Murphy Lokey and Frances Pyron Lokey. She was a retired customer service manager at Wal-Mart with more than 17 years of service. She was a member of Clarksdale Baptist Church and Clarksdale Shrine Auxiliary, and a past member of the Clarksdale Elks Auxiliary.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at National Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard Moates officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, J.W. King of Clarksdale; four daughters, Linda King Burnette of Tupelo, Wilma Frances Wells (Fred) of Horn Lake, Evelyn Pauline King (Jerry) of Harmontown and Martha Luanne King of Clarksdale; two sons, John Wesley King (Elizabeth) of Clarksdale and James Murphy King (Amber) of Clarksdale; one sister, Wilma Lokey Noah of Arlington, Tenn.; one brother, William Lawrence Lokey of Clarksdale; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Doris Holloway.
