I believe that a Mrs. Sherry Nohsey gave information to me that it was likely that David Ross, b. 1814 in NC married a Louisa J. Scallion (b. 1824, TN). She wasn't certain on the last name of Louisa but she had been given that name by other people. There was also a connection to Gentrys if you have any of those in your tree...
I'm also researching the Wolfe, Tribble, Burdeshaw, Williams, Peters, Ross, Rainey/Raney, and Henson families in Tallahatchie County.
