CLARKSDALE - Iris Bethel Brown Jacob, 81, homemaker, died Dec. 31, 2003 at Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, where she was a communicant, with burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. National Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. Jacob, the widow of Leigh S. Jacob, leaves two daughters, Celeste J. Zepponi and Rita J. Morgan, both of Clarksdale; two sons, Leigh S. Jacob of Heber Springs, Ark., and Michael A. Jacob of Clarksdale; a sister, Essie Belle Brown Beavers of Biloxi, 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
