Clarksdale -- Carlee W. Nevel, 81, educator, died Feb. 8, 2005 at Lindy Bogg Medical Center in New Orleans.
Graveside services were at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sumner. Nowell Funeral Home had charge.
Mr. Nevel, the husband of Erba Powell Nevel, also leaves a daughter, Alta Marie Nevel Martin, and a son, Carlee W. Nevel Jr., both of Belle Chasse, La.; a sister, Hazel Lagate, and a grandchild.
