Clarksdale -- Thomas L. Callicutt, 87, retired farmer, died May 2, 2005 at his home. Services were at Tutwiler First Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, with burial in Cagle's Crossing Cemetery in Dublin. Nowell Funeral Home has charge. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a former president of Quitman County Water Association.
Mr. Callicutt, the husband of Imogene Guyton Callicutt, also leaves a daughter, Cheryl Callicutt Swindoll of Tutwiler; two sons, Thomas L. Callicutt Jr. of Metairie, La., and Joseph Daniel Callicutt of New Albany; a brother, Hayward K. Callicutt of Tutwiler, and four grandchildren.
