Senatobia - DOT MITCHELL, 96, former owner of the Sandman Restaurant and Motel and antique dealer, passed away July 15, 2007 at the Senatobia Convalescent Center. Graveside services will be held Tuesday July 17 at 11 a.m. in Looxahoma Church of Christ Cemetery. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband, H. G. Mitchell, her daughter, Sarah Love Mitchell, and her son, Gregg Mitchell. She leaves her daughter-in-law, Beverly Mitchell Massey and her husband, Ellington of Lyon, MS; her niece, Sue Draper of Suffolk, VA; and her nephew, C. W. Gary and his wife, Cathy of Coldwater, MS. She also leaves her grandchildren, Gregg Mitchell III and his wife, Valorie and their children, Hunter, Walker and Madison, Dedric Mitchell and his wife, Allyson and their children, Sidney and Mary Brooks, Mary Margaret Gullage and her husband, Ben and their children, William and Mary Carrington, Beverly Ward and her husband, Chris and their children, Mitchell and McKinley. She was a member of the Senatobia Church of Christ.
