Senatobia - JESSE D. DEAN, 84, passed away October 1, 2007 at the Mississippi State Veteran’s Home in Oxford, MS. He was a retired service station owner and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Mr. Dean was a veteran of the Army, having served in WWII and in Korea. He was a member of the Senatobia Church of Christ, where the family wishes memorials be made to. Mr. Dean leaves his wife, Katherine Moore Dean of Senatobia; one daughter, Marilyn Dean Crockett of Senatobia; and one son, Calvin Dean of Olive Branch. He is survived by one sister, Clyde Frayser of Southaven; and by two brothers, Charles Dean and Bill Dean both of Senatobia. Mr. Dean also leaves his four grandchildren, Mackenzie McGehee, Andy Crockett, Rebecca Dean and Alex Dean. Visitation for Mr. Dean will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 2, from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 3 at Pate-Jones Funeral Home Chapel, with Mike Jones, officiating. The burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery in Senatobia, MS.
