Arthur Richard Vance, 60, died March 27, 2008, at Alliance Health Care in Holly Springs. He was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Ripley.
Services were at Foster and Son Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Green Cemetery in Ripley.
Survivors included three daughters, Alise (Bobby) Shegog of Olive Branch, Yolanda (Calvin) Carodine of New Albany and Jessica (Maurice) Warren of Hickory Flat; two sons, Kenneth (Lisa) Vance of Blue Mountain and Arthur "Hub" Vance Jr. of Potts Camp; three sisters, Gladys (Lawrence) Ward, Martha Carter and Lillie Vance, all of Milwaukee, Wis.; two brothers, Joe (Ruth) Vance of Blue Mountain and William (Starlette) Vance of Ripley; 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
