Myrtle Waldon Braddock Skinner, 99, died April 23, 2008, at her residence in Tiplersville. She was born Sept. 14, 1908,to the late W.W. and Rosie Yancey Braddock. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She was a farm wife and previously worked in the lunch room.
Services were at Ripley Funeral Home with burial in Providence Cemetery.
Survivors included one son, Joe Skinner (Betty) of Tiplersville; five granddaughters, Mary Jo Baker (James) of Olive Branch, Reta Montgomery (Sammy), Lola Waldrop (Russell), Wanda Wilbanks (Carl) and Amy S. Bailey (John) of Tiplersville; one grandson, William Skinner (Vicki) of Walnut; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Skinner; her parents; one sister, Mary Lee Brumble; and two brothers, Bob Waldon and Bud Waldon.
